For the first time in a long time I'm feeling really good!! Thanks to my Kinesiologist and fantastic supplements and nutrition! My stomach doesn't hurt anymore!
I'm taking:
1. Prebiotic in powder form 1x/day
2. CAC factor for the digestive process, which is responsible for helping my energy level
3. Vit. D, which helps almost every function in the body
4. Liquid anti Uranium, because Uranium was detected in my body
5. Antioxidant, to combat all the toxins we all are exposed to.
6. Glutathione, which is an Amino acid to help with digestion
The only thing on the list that everyone should take every day is the Antioxidant. There is no amount of food that you can eat to help your body rid itself of all the toxins that bombard it. They're everywhere. In the air, food, cleaning products, etc. So, do yourself a favor and go to a health food store and get a bottle. The brand I take is Metagenics. They are, in my opinion, the best.
Then add to it a liter of water a day. That's my challenge to you. Buy a liter bottle of water and see if you can finish it by the end of the day for a month. That helps the body wash all the toxins out that you are getting rid of with the Antioxidant. You'll be amazed how much better you feel. Write me and tell me how it goes!

The food pyramid

Here is the REAL food pyramid that the government should be endorsing. This was created by Joel Fuhrman, M.D. a board-certified family physician, and nutritional researcher, who specializes in preventing and reversing disease through nutritional and natural methods. He is the author of seven books, his newest release "Super Immunity: The Essential Nutrition Guide for Boosting your Body's Defenses to Live Longer, Stronger and Disease Free."
Dr. Fuhrman's Food Pyramid vs. USDA Pyramid
-The USDA’s pyramid bases the diet around grains, dairy, and meat, rather than vegetables – only 2-3 servings each of vegetables and fruits are recommended. Their pyramid reflects the American diet as it is – centered on animal products and processed foods rather than whole plant foods.
-The USDA pyramid allows for multiple servings daily of dairy, meat, and oils – nutrient poor foods that should be limited to 2 or less servings per week in Dr. Fuhrman’s Pyramid. These foods do not contribute beneficial micronutrients and therefore do not deserve such prominent positions in the diet. For example, the USDA pyramid recommends approximately 3 servings of dairy per day for adults. Dairy products are not essential for good health, and contribute saturated fat and animal protein, both of which should be limited to prevent chronic disease.
-The USDA pyramid places the most emphasis on grains, whereas Dr. Fuhrman’s pyramid places the most emphasis on vegetables. They recommend that half of grain servings each day are whole grain rather than refined – this leaves too much room for dangerous refined carbohydrate products in the diet, and less room for fruit and vegetable servings. Although whole grains are healthful, their nutrient density is not as great as those of the other unrefined plant foods. In Dr. Fuhrman’s pyramid, whole grains can be included daily, but are limited; fresh fruits, vegetables, and beans, because of their high nutrient to calorie ratios, can be eaten in unlimited quantities.
-The USDA pyramid combines meat and beans into one category. Both meat and beans are sources of protein, but it is important to differentiate between these since meat is a disease-promoting food and beans are a health-promoting food. The protein in meat is packaged with saturated fat and cholesterol, and the protein in beans is packaged with fiber and phytochemicals. Meat contains no fiber or phytochemicals. Beans help you maintain your weight by promoting satiety, protect against cancer, and help to keep cholesterol levels down. In Dr. Fuhrman’s pyramid, beans are eaten daily and meat is limited to two servings or less per week.
-The USDA pyramid does not convey the importance of nuts and seeds for good health – there is no ‘nut and seed’ food group. Nuts and seeds are also included in the meat and beans cateogy. In Dr. Fuhrman’s Pyramid, nuts and seeds are included every day because of their potent cardiovascular benefits. Because of their calorie density, they should be limited for individuals trying to lose weight.

Tired of the inaffective prescription?
I don't know about you, but I'm mad. Really mad. How many times have you, or someone you know gone to the doctor with a symptom, who spends 5 minutes with you, writes a prescription, warns you of the side effects, and off you go with your little paper to get it filled at your local pharmacy. Only to suffer the side effect, not really feel better, and worse yet-develop ANOTHER symptom!
I've seen it 100 times!! People putting all their trust in 'doctors' yet not getting well. Isn't that what a Doctor is supposed to do? What's wrong with our doctors?! What's wrong with medical schools?! What are they actually teaching them? We've been studying the human body for centuries! There are civilizations who live much longer than the American culture does. Where's the disconnect? Why is America ok with this?? How much longer are we going to be ok with taking 'drugs' and not feeling better?
I think we are at the tipping point. America is NOT ok with this. And we are getting frustrated with the system. We are getting tired of watching members of our families becoming sick or diagnosed with strange diseases and not get well and worse-DEATH! Especially from being in hospitals! Where it's supposed to be safe!
There is a better way! Yes, there is. What if I told you your muscle strength and weakness tell the whole story. That there is a method that has a very orderly way of checking the body for problems. And that your muscles could tell what and how much of a remedy is needed and for how long. If you are a skeptic, that's ok. That's the American way. Europe already knows about it and uses it. And if you are curious enough and ready for something new, look up your local Applied Kinesiology Chiropractor! No prescription drugs, only supplements. No 5 min doctor visit. No surgery, only personalized solutions.
Me and my daughters are living proof that it works!

Food allergies
So, for the last year, at least, I have been allergic to:
1. Corn
2. Red meat
3. Dairy
4. Pork
5. Peanuts
Could you imagine? Meaning every time I ate something on that list I would have the worst stomach pain and trouble going to the bathroom. It was easier to eliminate it than going through the pain.
But what do you eat when you have to stay away from that much stuff? That means, no hamburger, hot dog, cheese, cookies, breads, peanut butter/jelly, carnitas burrito, fish tacos, glass of milk, chips and salsa, snickers, butterfinger, butter on toast, enchiladas, steak, ranch dressing....and I could go on.
Well, here's what you eat: a lot of grains ie. millet, quinoa, oats, rice. A lot of beans/legumes: mung beans, pinto, black eyed, navy, italian lentils, green lentils, yellow lentils, pink, black, etc. A lot of raw vegetables, salads, squash. Other animal protein: fish, turkey, chicken, even a corny hen! And learned how to make my own sauces. Read a lot of labels and learned how to duplicate at home using Olive oil, balsamic, soy sauce, garlic, etc.
I lost a lot of weight. 30 pounds to be exact. I got pretty good at cooking in a new way. I missed the comfort food at first. Then after a few months I started to crave my new ingredients. I felt more satisfied than I had on the old diet and had more energy. I didn't feel sluggish after I ate. And the best part, I saved so much money!! I never realized how expensive the things I was living without costed!
Not to mention, lately I've been getting compliments on looking good. People are constantly asking me what I have done differently. "More raw vegetables, and less red meat!" I say.

So it's December
You know you're going to do it. What? You know, make that New Years Resolution. The one you make every year. And each year the same thing happens. You do something for a little while. Maybe the latest craze, diet, pill, shake, program. And it's fun for awhile because all your friends are doing it, it's on the news or you see some results. But then the excitement fades, and you loose interest and it all comes back. And now it's summer and you look just like you did last summer with the same promise to yourself.
If you don't do something different, no-drastically different- you'll have the same results this year. You'll feel the same, look the same and be wearing the same clothes. You'll still feel tired, slow, always hungry, never satisfied, trying to resist 'junk' food. Looking at other people wondering how they do it and feeling bitter.
We offer a change to the problem. Not a quick fix, a magic pill, or a drastic surgery. A school that fills in the education gaps of public education. You will learn what your body needs, where to get it from, and how much. You will be supported by the teacher and your peers. You will learn what an enzyme does, combinations of foods to avoid, and why the food pyramid is all wrong. America is tired of being the largest culture on the planet and they are doing something about it! Join the revolution!
